Why Trauma Recovery
Coaching Matters
Pushing through life’s challenges takes strength — not just physical, but emotional and mental. As a Trauma Recovery Coach, I help you face what feels immovable and transform it into momentum.
At Release My Potential, my mission is rooted in personal experience: guiding you to rise stronger, reclaim your power, and move what once felt impossible.
My Story: Why I Do This Work
Over a decade ago, the trajectory of my life changed in an instant. A severe concussion took everything away from me. I lost my job, my sense of identity, my motivation, my relationships, and any hope of ever escaping the darkness that swallowed my world.
Shortly after, memories of childhood sexual abuse came flooding back. And with them came a violent rupture — separating me from everything I once believed in. I spiraled. I gained over 100 pounds through binge eating. I was prescribed cocktail after cocktail of medications that did little to ease the pain.
For years, I struggled just to survive. Until one day, I made a decision — not to give up, but to fight. To make recovery my mission.
That decision launched me into a decade-long journey. From talk therapy to EMDR… IOPs to DBT… pain clinics to substance abuse centers… chiropractors to physical therapists… sleep studies, CPAP machines, ADHD testing, vision therapy, Syntonics light therapy, medication, meditation, and more.
I’ve walked nearly every path available in modern and holistic care. And what I discovered is this: while some tools help, no single modality is enough on its own — not for those recovering from the deep wounds of complex trauma.
But here’s the truth I uncovered through it all: No matter what you’ve been through, no matter how impossible it feels, you are 100% capable of healing. There is a path forward — and it doesn’t just change how you see yourself… it changes how others see themselves through you.
I’ve lived it. Now I’m passing it on to you.
As a Trauma Recovery Coach, my mission is to help you unlock a belief system that says: You are stronger than you’ve ever known. More resilient than you ever imagined.
And with time, I’ll help you remember what’s been true all along — resilience doesn’t come from the outside… it rises from within.
“It’s better to have tried and live with failure than never to have tried and live with regret.”
